Anyone in need of temporary shelter who, for whatever circumstances needs somewhere warm and safe to sleep. This is a service for individuals calling from Guelph or Wellington County. It operates 24 hour a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, including holidays. The volunteer who answers the line will take the callers information and refer them to an appropriate shelter. The volunteer will also call the shelter and confirm if a bed is available for the individual in need of shelter.

The service will not be able to help find a permanent housing solution.  For housing referrals, or to discuss other confidential issues with a trained volunteer you may call the Distress Line at 821-3760.
